Are your gutters clogged?  With summer storms and the torrential downpouring of rain, clogged gutters cannot always handle the volume of water racing toward the downspouts.  What happens when they are clogged and not able to adequately direct the water down the spouts?  It can cascade over the top or behind the gutters.  This does not really sound that bad, but when this excess flow of water makes its way into the walls of your home, your troubles have just begun.  Too much water seeping in over time, can lead to mold, which in turn can potentially lead to health effects.
